We are a privately held company with multiple locations in the tri-state area. The office environment is busy, with administrative tasks being distributed continuously to an incredible HR team. Must be able to work at fast pace; working both independently, and as part of team on repetitive tasks and special projects.
The purpose of this position is to process hourly payroll, run daily payroll and accounting reports, communicate with both local employees and client companies, process employment verifications, proof new hire reports, verify compensation levels and other HR related tasks. The successful candidate must be detailed oriented, well organized, have strong interpersonal skills, he/she will work primarily with payroll software; must be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office suite. A Payroll Clerk will provide support to our local and long distance business units by reconciling statements, data entry, and running reports.
Compensation for position is based on years of experience and proficiency in required skill areas.
